Generic concept for new indicationsmdoc has a generic concept that permits treatment to always be adjusted to the latest level of diagnostics without programming work.
mdoc provides a three-layer concept that is comprised of the following modules defined for each indication:
- Treatment paths (e.g. nutrition, ventilation, dementia treatment...) group individual treatment steps
- Diagnostic parameters are measured as part of the treatment steps (measure blood pressure, give advice on treatment options ...)
- Diagnostic parameters (blood pressure, neurological status ...) provide the basis for diagnosis and therapy.
These three entities form the core of mdoc and can be recreated or modified very simply. This means that mdoc can be used for every indication and also for the treatment of several indications.
As a special feature the calculation of indication-specific scores (e.g. EDSS...) can be added in mdoc.
These data are imported very simply via an Excel sheet in which information is provided on the individual entitites and these interlinked.
