Functionality

Functionality of tembanking

tembanking provides finance department staff of major companies as well as corporate customers of banks with tools to work securely and efficiently in vital areas of the finance sector. These include electronic payment transactions and international cash management.

All components can be combined freely because they are based on a single underlying framework so that individual solutions for various fields of application can be compiled. tembanking supports client capability, multiple language support, scalability and multiple bank support (EBICS/sFTP/SWIFT). It permits administration from several levels (system, host, bank, and business) and it incorporates a granular roles and rights concept. Consequently, data security, high performance and international applicability are a given.

Payments

Payments

tembanking is capable of

  • automatically importing,
  • uploading and
  • manually registering

transfer payments and direct debits. Different features are available depending on licensing. An input converter (e.g. SAP IDoc, SEPA XML, MT101, MT104, etc.) is required in addition to the module tembanking payments for the import and upload of payments. If there is a need to convert the imported format (e.g. SAP IDoc to SEPA XML) or to create (a) payment file(s) upon manual registration in tembanking, output converters are used for the different formats. These can be licensed individually. We look forward to advising you on your optimal compilation.

Account Information

Account Information

The module tembanking accounts provides information on transactions, value dates and account statements. A database records the account statements downloaded by the account servicing bank (MT940 or camt.053) as well as intraday interim statements/notifications (MT942 or camt.052) keeping them available for review. Aggregated statements with respect to corporations, banks and currencies and comprehensive search functions supply the user with potentially needed summaries at any time – guaranteeing transparency in the process.

Bank Integration

Bank Integration

tembanking has multi-client and multi-bank capabilities. Companies can administrate all of their bank connections, transmit payments and access account statements via the tembanking Payment Factory. Communications adaptors are available for bank integration, which can also be licensed individually.

Access via EBICS proves convenient for German and increasingly for European banks, too. Individual access gateways via sFTP, peer-to-peer, SWIFT, etc. are available.

Banks decide during the conceptualization phase of their customer portal whether multi-bank support should be activated for their customers.

We look forward to supporting you in the selection of suitable adaptors.

Cash Management

Cash Management

In addition to comprehensive payment transaction support, tembanking offers components for international cash management, namely the tembanking modules accounts, pooling und plan. Extensive account information including daily statements and notifications forms the basis of liquidity control optimization. Besides that, liquid resources can be centralized to equalize negative balances in order to optimize interest (Cash Pooling).

The incorporation of target figures (tembanking plan) entails that tembanking can even take payments that it has registered but not yet executed and, also, payments that have only been registered externally (SAP, accounting systems, planning tools, excel) into account. In this way, the required funds do not have to be transferred just before maturity.
